This membership kit brings together in one package essential information about The Canadian Church Press (CCP). These materials are published not only as a service to existing members, but also as an introduction to prospective members. Hence the enclosed application form.
The CCP is an association that offers fellowship and support to its members, who are united in a common bond of Christian communication. Members are encouraged, in an atmosphere of Christian openness and concern, to lay aside denominational differences in an effort to maintain high standards of religious journalism.
Through the annual convention and other events, issues of concern at the heart of religious publishing are addressed, such as copyright, excellence in content, postal affairs, dealing with printers.
Membership entitles you to share in the many benefits, specifically:
- annual convention, including professional development workshops and relevant keynote speakers
- awards contest and presentation
- press cards
- other localized events from time to time
- support on issues of concern and, most of all, fellowship with peers.

Associate Membership Application
I wish to apply for associate membership in The Canadian Church Press (CCP).
Associate membership is open to former editors of member publications who desire to continue personal affiliation, to individuals who have a professional interest in religious journalism and to journalists specializing in religion reporting for newspapers and consumer magazines.
Associate membership fee: $ 30 (due upon notification of acceptance into membership)

Periodical Membership Application
On behalf of my publication I wish to apply for periodical membership in The Canadian Church Press (CCP).
I understand that CCP membership is open to periodicals published in Canada which serve church constituencies and which are circulated on a national or regional basis. Periodicals circulating primarily in a single parish or single community are not eligible.
